Symbolizing a new beginning for the LGBTQIA2S+ abolitionist organization Black & Pink, Dominique Morgan used giant scissors for the ribbon cutting at their new headquarters. Friends and coworkers gathered around to celebrate the contemporary offices filled with stylish, suave furniture. The new space had this welcoming ambience that just felt comfortable to work and communicate in.

On Wednesday, July 21, Black & Pink hosted an unveiling of their new headquarters located in the Eastern Nebraska Community Action Partnership (ENCAP) building located at 2406 Fowler Ave. in the heart of North Omaha. Their new workspace is also just down the street from the Opportunity Campus, which will be a housing and community space for LGBTQIA2S+ young adults who are system impacted.

Executive Director Dominique Morgan spoke about the importance of investing money in North Omaha. “Across the street from our new headquarters is Saratoga Elementary where I went to school - I grew up a few blocks away. This is my neighborhood.”
